During the Origin window, clubs lose representative players and rotate squads. The model treats this period with extra caution because depleted line-ups distort normal form.
Golden-point games and short five- and six-day turnarounds reduce performance. Fatigue and recovery time are weighted, particularly for forward-heavy game plans.
Wet-weather rugby league tightens games and favours field position and kicking. Heavy tracks are factored into totals and line markets.
