Model-driven tennis tips for ATP and WTA tournaments. Confidence tiers, staking guide, and transparent public record.
PuntersEdge covers ATP and WTA tennis with tips generated from statistical models trained on serve statistics, head-to-head records, surface performance, and odds movement. Only matches where model confidence exceeds 65% are published.
Tennis-specific factors that move our model's view — not a generic checklist.
Hard, clay and grass reward different game styles. Player ratings are surface-adjusted because a clay specialist and a fast-court server are not comparable on raw ranking.
Hold and break percentages, first-serve points won and return games won drive the model far more than ranking alone, especially in best-of-three formats.
Some matchups are structurally lopsided regardless of ranking — a big server against a weak returner, or a counter-puncher against a flat hitter.
Long three-set battles and short turnarounds between rounds reduce output. Recent court time and travel between events are weighted.
Altitude and heat speed the ball up and favour servers; indoor courts remove weather variance. Tournament conditions are part of the read.
Rankings lag current form. A player returning from injury or in a hot streak is rated on recent results, not a stale ranking number.
